Modern fire detection systems should be about integration not isolation, enabling improved interoperability of data and process to deliver a safer environment. Integrated command and control is a central component in the move towards an intelligent approach, which results in significant benefits. The introduction of enterprise-level command and control allows greater synergies between core sub-systems such as fire safety, security, lighting, communications and building energy management.
