One-stop Pan-european Testing Takes A Step Closer To Reality

The availability of a pan-european one-stop testing and certification scheme has taken a significant step forward this week with the long-anticipated launch of Certalarm. The scheme aims to offer a European quality mark for third party one-stop test and certification, based on EN 54 fire standards. It has been set up in response to the industry's frustration about the need to obtain national certifications from different countries in Europe, rather than being able to use one-stop certification across the whole of the European market.
