Specifying, designing and installing a fire suppression system can be a minefield, so how do you know that it will work as intended? Do you take the claims of companies and the installer's documentation and think - well it's a well known company and they are an accredited agent, so everything will be OK? Or do you think: I want to see this thing work! During the course of my fire and safety career, the two things that have proved themselves time and time again is: don't believe all the claims that are made, and only believe in a system when you see it work in the situation it is expected to do so.
