Taking the 'risk' out of fire risk assessments

The risk assessment is probably the pivotal element in satisfying the legal obligations of the responsible person under UK fire safety legislation and also, hopefully, in managing fire safety in buildings. Get that wrong, and many of the acts or omissions flowing from a flawed risk assessment will be at best unwarranted and in the worst case, dangerous.
