Public address and fire alarm systems at the new Eden Shopping Centre in High Wycombe are underpinned by 12,000m of Prysmian's FP Plus cable, helping to protect the 350,000 people passing through the centre each week.rnPremier Electrics were contracted to carry outrnthe work and site manager Nigel Brown explains how the project unfolded. "We started work in January 2007 and completed our electrical installation by March 2008. Critical to the ease of the fit out was how fast FP Plus is to terminate. With MICC cable it can take a good five to ten minutes to make up and terminate the end of a cable. With FP Plus it is more like one minute, without compromising on cable quality either."
