Fire Safety Order Conference

Another major conference on the enforcement and effectiveness of the Fire Safety Order is to be held at the brand new Rose Bowl building at Leeds Metropolitan University on 16 June. Speakers at the conference, supported by the Institute of Fire Safety Managers, wi represent both the compliance end of the legislation and the enforcement end, and will inform delegates of their own expertise and experience of the Fire Safety Order. They include fire safety lawyers, building control specialists, fire safety engineers anc consultants - and even a speaker from the Communities and Local Government Department giving the government's view. The aim is to provide a new level of understanding about how the legislation is actually operating on the ground and how enforcement is perceived, not only by the enforcers but also by end users.
