摘要

This fire involved an extension that was added to the original hotel building in 1974. It contained function suites on the ground floor and staff accommodation on the floor above. The extension was constructed in a traditional manner to remain in keeping with the original hotel design. The external construction consisted of traditional cavity walls and was plaster-finished.
