Tesco and FPA develop Hot Work Passport

Retail Giant Tesco has been working with the Fire Protection Association (FPA) to implement a proactive management approach to hot work activity in its stores across the UK. Early in 2007, Mark Tutton, senior fire and petroleum risk manager at Tesco Stores Limited, asked the FPA to develop an accredited course that could be used as a minimum training requirement for anyone who signs-off hot work permits for Tesco's work.
