International President's Desk

摘要

The Institution's annual general meeting (AGM), conference and exhibition, which took place in Glasgow on 1-2 July, proved a resounding success. The AGM was particularly important for me personally, since I was officially installed as international president at the meeting. As the first Canadian to hold this esteemed office, it was fitting that I took up the position on 1 July as this was also Canada Day, which celebrates the creation of Canada as a nation in 1867.
