A volunteer fire department is aggressively fighting a fire in a two-story colonial when the incident commander hears the most dreaded words on the fireground transmitted over the radio: "Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!" The firefighter transmitting the Mayday reports that his partner has fallen through the floor into the basement in the C/D area of the dining room.
