TRENCH RESCUE LESSONS LEARNED

I hear people say on occasion; "have you ever had one of those days where everything goes wrong?" This statement is usually followed by a litany of coffee stain problems and Murphy's Law grumblings. We have all had those days. Our job as firefighters is all about helping people when they are having their "worst day." When everything goes wrong, it is our job to say, "Enough! The bad stuff stops here!" Okay, maybe it's not that dramatic, but through training, experience, and determination, we try to deal with everyone's worst day.
