This fully automatic, hands-free device is built with high-strength steel cable that withstands fire temperatures far beyond the capability of Kevlar~R or Technora~R. When you need to bailout, simply attach Bailout Buddy to a window sill or other anchoring point. Bailout Buddy's internal force limiter will absorb an initial freefall of up to 500 lbs, so you can jump if necessary - even with another person. After bailout, Bailout Buddy quickly lowers you out of danger, gradually slowing your descent as you reach safety.
