AMU is open to all and focused on all who serve. American Military University is a member institution of the regionally accredited American Public University System. APUS is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association and nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council. We are one of the few institutions that is both regionally and nationally accredited by federally recognized accrediting agencies.
