The human body's sophisticated heat-regulating system keeps the internal temperature at 98.6°F (37°C) regardless of the outside ambient temperatures. In hot weather combined with vigorous physical activity, the body produces excess heat. The body's response is to rid this excess heat by sweating and evaporation as well as dilation of the skin blood vessels. We respond by removing clothing or by get-ting out of the sun to a cooler environment.
