Cab Size, Strength, and Seat Belt Use

It was a relatively mild day in early February. My wife asked me to take her shopping, and I told her that I needed to get gas and would return shortly. I jumped into my bright yellow Hummer H-3, put the radio on, and drove less than one mile toward the gas station. As I passed through an intersection, my vehicle was violently struck in the right side rear by a car that was traveling quite fast. The sound of crunching metal, breaking glass, and tires skidding sideways was totally indescribable! The Hummer spun in a 360° arc, taking out a stop sign and coming to rest across the side street.
