The 9/11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center recently revealed a proposed new design for the 9/11 Memorial that will honor also those afflicted by 9/11-related life-threatening illnesses. It is estimated that more than 400,000 men and women were exposed to contaminants on 9/11 and during the months-long rescue and recovery operations at Ground Zero.
