Finite element discretization by minimization of elastic strain energy method

摘要

The original conception of using the method of minimization of functionals for a search of optimum ways of discretization of models is presented in this paper. Accuracy of the wanted solution is taken as the optimization criterion. The algorithm is shown by pictorial numerical examples.
