Nortel sells Chinese bank optical SAN

Nortel Networks' business continuity solution, developed in association with storage industry leader EMC, is based on Nortel Networks' OPTera Metro 5200 Multiservice Platform. The network leverages the power of DWDM optical technology to link ICBC's Beijing data consolidation center with a backup facility at another location in the capital. The Beijing center collects data from approximately 21 provinces across North China.
