Aurora Networks of Santa Clara, California, a privately-held supplier of optical transport systems for cable operators, announced its Unified PON Architecture and Universal Services Node QAM. The Unified PON Architecture includes the Trident7 access platform, which Aurora acquired along with related patents, product and process technology, and customer contracts from Enablence in September 2011.
