Underwater diggers uncover Australian history in the Atlantic

A team led by the Western Australian Maritime Museum in Fremantle has discovered two pieces of maritime history that bring back to life the pre-colonial exploration of Australia by British and French mariners. In March, the expedition team uncovered the wrecks of the Roebuck, commanded by English explorer William Dampier, and the Uranie, commanded by French explorer Louis de Freycinet.
