Brokers must put shipowners first

Brokers have been warned by a maritime insurer that they share the same clients - and with that the same fortunes. For that reason, Paul Jennings - joint managing director of Newcastle-based North of England P&I Club (North) - also told brokers that they needed to approach renewals with the mindset that the best interests of shipowners were a joint responsibility.
