Avoid Oracle installation and stability hassles on Linux with free RHEL clones

As you may know, Red Hat distributes a free version of Linux through the Fedora Project (www.redhat.com /en_us/USA/fedora). It's natural to think that if Oracle officially supports RHEL, then Fedora must be the closest thing. Unfortunately, that isn't the case. While there's plenty of information available for installing Oracle on Fedora (as it is, after all, a popular Linux distribution), it isn't really the same thing as RHEL.
