FIVE AUSSIE INNOVATORS SHARE IN$200,000 OPTUS FUTURE MAKERS GRANT

Five digital and social innovators from across the country have walked away withtheir share of $200,000 to make their idea a reality after successfully pitching to anexpert panel as part of the 2020 Optus Future Makers.After submitting theirtechnology innovations inlate 2019, Nitin Fernande,Narelle Priestley, FrancesAtkins, Bronwyn Covill andClive Vaz were shortlisted finalists for the 2020 Future Makers capacity building and accelerator program. Inits fourth year, the five finalists were mentored over six months, with experts fromacross Optus helping them to hone their idea and develop the pitch that would go onto secure funding from Optus Future Makers 2020.
