VOCUS ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR IPO OF VOCUS NEW ZEALAND

The Vocus Group telecommunications company has appointed financial advisers inpreparation for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Vocus New Zealand expected to beundertaken before the end of 2021.The ASX-listed Vocus (ASX:VOC) board said in a statement on Thursday that, subject toprevailing market conditions, it considers that a successful IPO of Vocus New Zealand willprovide greater balance sheet flexibility to the Vocus Group.This would enable Vocus Network Services to invest in core long-term strategic fibreopportunities to extend its network reach, build on its product capabilities and cement itsposition as Australia’s specialist fibre and network solutions provider.
