Swedish telco equipment vendor Ericsson has signed a 5-year deal with Greek mobile networkfirm WIND Hellas as its latest client for both standalone & non-standalone 5G technology.A statement from Ericsson said it would supply WIND Hellas with its container -based dualmode5G Core technology through a number of use cases."Ericsson will deliver a powerful transformation to Wind Hellas’ existing 2G/3G/4G packetcore and signalling infrastructure and enable them to deploy their first standalone 5Gnetwork," the Swedish firm said.
