Optus becomes accredited satcoms and mobile service provider to NT Government

Optus has been appointed a non-exclusive supplier of mobile and satellite voice and data communications services to the Northern Territory GovernmentrnAll NT Government agencies will be able to procure the full suite of Optus' mobile voice and data services, including mobile broadband, as well as Optus Thuraya mobile satellite services for voice coverage in remote areas. They will be able to purchase a range of products and services from Optus including Thuraya dual-mode GSM/satellite phones, GmPRS data services and the Thuraya XT handset.
