Aussie company Etherstack bridges two way radio and LTE networks

Australian company Etherstack has demonstrated technology that provides Integration between an LTE network and an APCO P2S based two way emergency services radio network. The demonstration, which tookpJace with Alcatel-Lucent at the International Wireless Congress in Las Vegas, enabled the user of an LTE handset running Etherstack's client software to communicate with users of handsets on an APCO P25 emergency services digital radio network, via an Etherstack Softswitch incorporated into the LTE network.
