Cohda and NXP unveil the next step for 'connected vehicles'

Connected vehicle technology leader Cohda Wireless and US chip company NXP Semiconductors have announced the launch of the MK4, the latest generation of its connected car anti-collision technology based on the NXP/Cohda RoadUNK chipset. The chipset addresses both Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-lnfrastructure (V2I) implementations, collectively referred to as V2X. The MK4 will be unveiled in Novi, Michigan, at the V2V & V2I for Auto Safety USA 2013 conference.
