Visa and Samsung signed a global alliance agreement at this week's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to use the NFC (near field communications) capabilities of the new generation of Samsung smartphones so they can be used as digital wallets.Visa will also offer financial institutions a secure service to download payment account information to Samsung's mobile devices.
