I was truly sorry to hear of the demise of the Netscape browser. AOL announced that it will end support for Netscape on Feb. 1. And so if s the end of the browser that literally popularized the World Wide Web-the progenitor of AJAX, JavaScript, plug-ins and RSS, among many, many other Web technologies, and the catalyst for one of the biggest antitrust losses in the history of American business.
