New Technology Improves Analog Voltage Readings

More powerful versions of VOLTpoint™ and TEMPpoint™ instruments incorporate proprietary ISO-Channel™ technology using galvanic isolation to guarantee 1,000-V isolation between each sensor input. Common-mode noise and ground loop problems are eliminated, and sensors atrnvarying ground voltages are individually referenced to their own level.rnVOLTpoint measures a range of ±10-, ±100-, and ±400-V inputs for applications such as hybrid-electric vehicle battery performance, high-voltage data acquisition, and battery back-up monitoring. TEMPpoint addresses direct thermocouple, RTD, and precision voltage or resistance measurements with a PC. Temperature and voltage values can be viewed, graphed, or exported to Excel and allow limit checking for control or monitoring of a manufacturing process.
