The 19020 Series multichannel hipot tester employs a new architecture that enables it to measure hipot leakage current of all channels at the same time and conduct tests on a maximum of 100 DUTs simultaneously, increasing regulatory test efficiency and productivity. The 19020 incorporates a synchronous hipot test function that allows one single unit to perform 10 channels of sync output and measurement at the same time. A maximum of 10 units can be controlled for 100 channels in total. They can be grouped for output to avoid creating voltage differences. The 19020 synchronizes the output signal, removing risk of high-voltage differences on adjacent DUTs and minimizing any occurrence of error in the test.Taking 5-kVAC output voltage as an example, when the output of a hipot tester is not synchronized, two nearby DUTs may experience a voltage difference of up to 14 kV peak-to-peak, causing damage to the fixture and erroneous test results.
