AUTOTEST spans legacy replacement to new systems

Building and maintaining military/aerospace electronic components, subsystems, and systems require an array of test equipment-benchtop lab equipment, automated test systems for the manufacturing and depot environments, and flightline test instruments. To meet MIL/Aero test needs, vendors are offering instruments and systems including racks of bench or modular equipment containing network analyzers, digitizers, power supplies, switching matrices, and more-as well as sophisticated interconnect and cabling systems. Theinstruments and systems may be dedicated to MIL/Aero applications, or they may be adapted from commercial test systems and put together by third-party integrators. And new systems and instruments can play a variety of roles-ranging from legacy system replacement to new system deployment. AUTOTEST (formerly AUTOTEST-CON), scheduled for Sept. 15-18 in St. Louis, will provide vendors an opportunity to demonstrate their products and comment on industry trends.
