Intel Labs vice president and director of Integrated Computing Research Dr. Vida Ilderem will serve as plenary session speaker on June 2 at the IEEE MTT-S 2014 International Microwave Symposium (IMS), marking the first female plenary speaker in the history of IMS. Her address is titled "How Data, Devices, and Personalization Are Fueling Demand for Innovation." Continuing the spotlight on women's contributions to engineering, University of California, Davis chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi will lead the keynote session on June 6 at the IEEE 2014 Wireless and Microwave Technology Conference, which is co-located with IMS.
