SOLIDARITY FUND 14 mn euro aid to flood-hit countries

The European Commission has proposed granting aid of €14.08 million to Slovenia, €286,587 to Croatia and €240,000 to Austria following the catastrophic floods, which hit these countries in the autumn of 2012. An aid package using the EU Solidarity Fund was proposed the Commission on 30 April, and must now be approved the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers.
