The goal of this study is to provide a framework for understanding the differences on the antecedents and consequences of team intelligence in the cultures of USA and Turkey. The results revealed that although US and Turkish product managers tend to be similar on some factors (e.g. knowledge type), the results revealed significant differences between two countries on cultural and communication-related antecedents and product-related consequences. For the antecedents, the differences exist on informal communication, clan culture and hierarchy culture. While US product managers attached great importance to informal communication, Turkish product managers attached least importance. Clan culture was rated very highly by US product managers and very low by Turkish product managers. However, Turkish product managers attached great importance to hierarchy culture, while US product managers attached least importance. While US product managers rated product creativity and product timeliness to be important consequences, Turkish product managers rated them to be low.
