摘要

The Conventions and Treaties examined in the preceding pages are not exhaustive of the entire corpus of international law that could affect geoengineering strategies - others such as the Antarctic Treaty of 1959, and various supplemental agreements thereunder, as well as certain regional environmental agreements, also exist. What seems certain from this brief primer on the principal international agreements of relevance, however, is that next to nothing is present in any of the agreements that constitutes an iron-clad prohibition on geoengineering.
