Scott F. Aikin is a Lecturer in Philosophy at Western Kentucky University and Visiting Scholar in Philosophy at Vanderbilt University. He is the author of "Meta-epistemology and the Varieties of Epistemic Infinitism" in Synthese (2008), "Deliberative Democracy, Public Reason, and Environmental Politics" in Environmental Philosophy (2006), and "Modest Evidentialism" in International Philosophical Quarterly (2006).
