The pig farmer's wife who pleads for restoring the relation between farmer and consumer, and therefore is even thinking about producing 'vegetarian meat'. The phenomenon of 'urban cannibalism' as the Nemesis of late capitalism, in which cities slowly devour the earth. And why don't we just take the ever-changing recipe of the Brazilian bean dish feijoada completa as the basis for the urban approach? These are just a few of the rather/fairly wild ideas in the book Food for the City, with which the programme Foodprint by Stroom Den Haag closes.
