In a former cap factory on the Middelland-straat in Rotterdam, the atmosphere of the offices of LOLA Landscape Architects is imbued with energy. At the big windows there are spacious tables with computers where the young employees are busily engaged. The three 'directors' hardly stand out among them. Laid-back Cees van der Veeken meticulously gives instructions to a Polish designer, while a youthful-looking Eric-Jan Pleijster is conferring in English. Peter Veenstra seems the most exuberant of the three. He grabs some books and plans, shouting 'Let's go.'
