This project is both a bridge and consists of bridges. 500 metres of elevated walkways, a boardwalk and eight bridges connect this project to the surrounding landscape and city of Rosenheim Germany, where the Rivers Inn and Mangfall meet. Very much a landscape about water, significant upgrading has been done to the Hammerbach and Miihlbach creeks, transforming the Hammerbach into a kayak and pleasure boat route, and daylighting the once-covered Miihlbach. Gravel islands set into the bridge and river network provide space for relaxation. The park was built for the 2010 state garden show in Rosenheim. Akin to many projects in Germany built in conjunction with garden shows, it doubles as a significant part of Rosenheim's long-term plan for urban development.
