It is almost impossible to grasp the scale of building that is taking place in China right now and the breakneck speed at which it is developing. Who could possibly imagine 20,000 new skyscrapers in just one year - and that every year for the next twenty years? China is already consuming half of the world's production of cement and steel; and this is just the beginning.
