Characteristics of dissolved organic carbon in the leachate from moonam sanitary landfill

This study determinated of the characteristics of dissolved organic carbons (DOCs) in the leachates and the effluents from a treatment unit of a medium scale sanitary landfill, which is supposed to be in the early stage of methane fermentation. In particular, interest is focused on the distribution of molecular weight of DOCs determined from ultrafiltration fractionation, the separate recovery of humic acids with resins xad-8 AND xad-4, and the determination of their spectrophotometric characteristics.
