摘要

Liquid manure from industrial pig farming was mixed with waste ferrous sulphate solution from titanium dioxide manufacture to give a COD/SO_4 ratio of 1. The mixture was inoculated with Desulfovibrio desulfuricans and fermentation under anoxic conditions was monitored for 14 days. The efficiency of sulphate reduction in this process amounted to 99.3/100, degradation of organic pollutants expressed as COD was 75.4 and the whole iron content passed from the liquid to the solid state.
