Congress repeals ergonomics rule, handing major victory to WLf

Our March 2001 editorial commented on the legal conflict looming between Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Washington Legal Foundation (WLF) over the so-called Ergonomics Rule. As the May ES&E issue was going to press, the contentious rule was overturned and we included a brief news item on the ruling. Here is a more detailed account of the very short life of a contentious issue.
