AlChE ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION NEWSLETTER

This is my last letter as Environmental Division Chair, and I -want to take this opportunity to extend my best wishes to you all for a happy Holiday Season. I hope you were able to attend the Environmental Division activities at the 2010 AIChE Annual Meeting in Nashville. The program included numerous sessions on Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability, as well as on the traditional areas of air, water, and soil. I now leave the Division in the very capable hands of Ralph Pike, who will take over as Chair on January 1, 2010. I wish to take this opportunity to thank all the many volunteers of the Environmental Division, who have been responsible for the Division's accomplishments over the past year.
