Dell Expands Recycling Partnership with Goodwill Industries, Adds Free Online Trade-in Program

In 2004, Dell began a partnership with Goodwill Industries to provide a way for consumers to responsibly recycle used computer equipment by bringing it to designated Goodwill stores. This February, the company announced it was adding six additional states-Arkansas, Iowa, Maine, New Hampshire, Oregon, and Vermont-to its U.S. Reconnect recycling partnership, along with the cities of Akron, Ohio, Frederick, MD, and New Haven, CT. The total number of participating Goodwill retail stores is now more than 1,000 nationwide.
