UPCOMING ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCES

National Association of Environmental Professionals, Portland Hilton Downtown, Portland, OR. Under the theme of "Science, Politics and Policy; Environmental Nexus," this conference features session tracks devoted to a number of areas, including brownfields; land and watershed management; wetlands restoration, enhancement, and creation projects; transportation issues, and renewable energy. The conference will also feature three keynote addresses, including one delivered by John Kroger, the attorney general of Oregon, who will talk about how the Department of Justice is working with the Governor's office and other state agencies to streamline the regulatory system.
