Ethical Adaptation to Climate Change: Human Virtues of the Future

摘要

A number of urgent questions confront us in the face of the global wanning crisis. What is the best way to restore damaged ecosystems? How can we protect endangered species? How can we change our social practices so they become more sustainable? What unifies these questions, according to the editors of this volume, is the imperative of adaptation, understood as a virtue theoretical ideal: we humans have to adapt to climate change and we should do so in a way that allows us and the planet to flourish.
