Society welcomes the Institute of Demolition Engineers

The Institute of Demolition Engineers (IDE) is the latest organisation to jointly register with the SEE. Both joint and non-joint agreements were signed by chief executive Raymond Clark and IDE president Duncan Rudall at their AGM held at Plasterers Hall in the City of London on the 13 November. Although having a small membership of just over 400, the IDE was able to field more than 100 members at their AGM. To quote from the IDE magazine - Demolition Engineer -"This agreement, which is probably, historically, the most important development in demolition engineering since the IDE was founded, represents a significant move forward for the IDE and brings with it an appreciable increase in the value of IDE membership.
